September 1, 2010 Yazooy, LLC closed its office doors permanently.

The company was unable to turn a profit this year, and could no longer remain open.

The author of the site, previous owner of the company, has released nearly all products to the public as free downloads on the site:

The author still retains rights to these products, but is allowing the royalty-free use and download of them until the site can no longer stay online after the hosting payment made earlier runs out towards the end of November (around 11/27/2010).

A recent search was conducted to find out what sites were linking in to Yazooy.com, or mentioning Yazooy products, and both surprise and delight were experience upon finding Polyvore!

I seems that some budding digital artists have been using Yazooy store images and yazooy products in their designs on this site -- way to go!

As you may have noticed, Yazooy.com has not had any new products lately, but new products are actively being produced and will be made available within the next few weeks. In addition, a new face to the catalog will be made available with an easier shopping cart and payment system.

Retraction - Photoshop Creative 34

It appears that there was a slight miscommunication, and the brushes previously described in the blog as being in Photoshop Creative Magazine 34 will instead be appearing in Advanced Photoshop 43. Yazooy.com apologizes for the previous misleading statement made in error.

Yazooy.com advertisements will appear in both magazines, and despite Yazooy brushes not being in Photoshop Creative 34, there are 120 fine brushes from other vendors you are sure to enjoy.

New Yazooy.com brushes are also slated to appear in .PSD magazine in the near future, so stay tuned for information on which issue(s).

Yazooy.com will no longer be accepting comments within the blog for the foreseeable future.

Between 2005 and 2008, we accumulated several hundred thousand spam messages in the Blog. So much so that it made it nearly impossible to read and approve any true messages (after spam filtering, all messages required manual approval). As the endless pages of spam messages piled up, it was decided that comments would no longer be accepted on the Yazooy Blog.

In summary, no, the author and Yazooy.com are not interested in:
